by LadyFire_Ice on Apr 15, 2003 2:31:45 pm [homepage] Wowww Thank you for this! I am just learning how to use the nodes etc. in P5. I had no idea this was how to do this. I have always created effects with PS I now know I know I don't have to do that. Exceptional tutorial and very easy to follow. Appreciate it,, :-)

by StoreThomas on Jan 25, 2004 2:03:09 am [homepage] Great introduction to a fairly simple feature, but heck I went more than halfway through the manual, at that time I just wanted to start rendering, so I never got to this part.....don't know if it's even in there........Thanx :D
This is very helpfull. Now, I can do reflections with ease. I wouldn't know where I'd be, if this tutorial wasn't here. :-)
A thousand thanks for the simple, easy-to-follow tutorial.

Straight forward, quick. I have both the Poser 5 Handbook (Mortier) and the guide that came with the software and neither put it in a manner that could be found or way that could be followed by the novice!

Ok I run Poser 7 and was having no luck with this tutorial, making the ground reflective. But I found there is an Additional option in the Poser 7 controls that needs to be disabled. So for those who cannot get this to work right for them and are running P7. Here is what to do (this may work for poser 6 users too) in the PoserSurface controls under materials tab. under the Gradient_Bump option is the Surface_Catch_only option DISABLE IT after I disabled it everything worked fine. :) hope this helps
