Tips for aspiring stock photographers

Skill Level: Intermediate / Views: 294 / System Requirements: Photoshop, a decent camera with low noise

Here are a few tips for those of you who would like to start making some bucks with stock photography and don't have tons of cash to spend on fancy cameras.You can make great stock that will sell with only photoshop and a point-and-shoot with a few SLR features (that ranges around 150-250 bucks).

Tips: - Think as a potential customer (you’re a graphic designer, so you ought to know, since you’re
probably looking for theese kind of photos on sxc and stockexpert all day long). Use selective color
and try to picture the tones you’re looking for.SC is a very powerfull ally in Photoshop if used with
caution and a bit of common sense.It can make a difference, and as a photographer will earn you some
good bucks !

Thank you so much, I've been using Photoshop since the PC version and i've never used this technique; I don't even know when it was included with Photoshop LOL! But now I shall certainly pay close attention. Thanks again for opening my eyes. dhama.
