Step 1: Layer Preparation

Duplicate the layer in which your render is found three times and name the new layers in any logical way you wish.  In my example, I'll be using Layer 0 for the original render and Layers 1-3 for my copies.

I have Photoshop 5.0 and 7.0.
Neither have "Image>>Adjustments>>Shadows and Highlights"
Where else might this tuning be accomplished?

Hmm...You might try using Brightness/Contrast or Levels again to brighten the skin tone. I'm not familiar with PS 5 or 7, but I can tell you that the main idea of that particular layer is to brighten then blur.

The Shadows and Highlights can be found under Image>Adjustment>Variations in CS.

Going to try this out with my next poser rendering. Might even do it on my last ones.

Thanks for the tips!

Any idea what to use in place of Illuminosity mode from Step 10 in GIMP?
