I've had several folks ask how I do the speech bubbles/balloons for my "Girls From T.N.A." series. Here's a look at the process I use. This is a PDF file, so you'll need Adobe Reader or another PDF reader. This revisits an old technique which used a second object to "fill in" the cutaway area.
