UV Map Painting
A easy way for beginners to texture just by drawing the texture on the object. Done it in Blender 2.5
Using Poser / Daz Characters with Blender
This tutorial will show you how to take advantage of Poser / Daz figures. I'll show you how to import the Objects correctly, easily create the armature for a figure and apply the texture. For this tutorial, we'll start with a model that's not too complex. Daz3D has several free models available.
Using blender's Shrink Wrap Modifier.
UV Mapping with Blender - Basics
Introduction to UV Mapping with Blender 3D.
Introduction to using materials with Yafray
This is a reference tutorial covering the use of materials with the new Yafray interface. At this time, it uses some of the texture information from the traditional Blender Material's setting while color, transparency, gloss and other settings must be set from within the Yafray script interface.
Intro to using Yafray with Blender
Intro to the new Yafray : Blender interface: Based on Blender version 2.48 and Yafray version 0.1.0
Modeling a Sponge
A tutorial using a slightly different format. It's designed for an intermediate user looking for ideas on how to go about modeling something. As I created this model, I took lots of screen captures with the idea that I would create a tutorial with lots of reference photos and fewer words.
Game Engine - Health Bar
A short and simple tutorial on creating a Health Bar for your Blender Games.
Use cookie cutter script in Blender 3d
If you want to avoid unreliable Boolean operations to cut complex patterns out of objects (ie, make holes), the cookie cutter script that comes with Blender is the answer. It's very like Shapemerge in 3ds Max. Also included at site assorted helpful notes about Blender generally.
From Blender to Poser the Easy Way
Importing 3D clothing meshes into Poser just got a whole lot easier with PhilC's Obj2Cr2 Python script utility. If you do your prep work right - and there's not really all *that* much that needs doing - you will find yourself freed from the frustration of that bane of Poser content developers: the "Setup Room". A caveat: this is how *I* import clothing made in Blender3D. I may have left a tickbox unticked or left some key point unsaid. Please let me know if you find yourself at a loss as to how to continue. Be happy to help.
Creating Tank Tracks
Creating tank tracks using Dupli Frames and a curve Path.
Setting Vertex Colors with Python
Someone came to my site a while back looking for a way to set vertex colors using python. Here's a brief tutorial that shows how you can do it.
Using Specular Maps
A brief tutorial on using UV Maps in a rendered image. Covers Texture Maps, Normal Maps (bump) and Specular Maps. Also briefly describes Proportional Fall Off.
Spinning Cube Animation.
A simple animation of a spinning cube with it's rotation center moving.
Modeling with Soft Bodies
A tutorial that will show you how to use soft bodies to create a static model.
Baking Normals and Ambient Occlusion Maps
This tutorials shows the process of baking normals and ambient occlusion maps to a texture.
A simple and easy tutorial on modeling an object using the "Spin" function.
Staining your textures with Vertex Colors
A short tutorial showing how you can tint and stain your textures using Vertex Colors.
Utilisation de la commande Alt-S et applications. Using "Alt-S" !!
The information in this tutorial is from my experience of Blenders Vehicle Physics after going through the code from the Demo that was released and 'reverse engineering' it. Taking values from different section of the code, altering it until I understood how it was being used.
Background and Foreground images
Using background images. Using planes for foreground images with alpha map transparency.
A simple tutorial on shape keys. Shape keys allow you to change a mesh without changing the original shape.
Here's a short tutorial on Eye movement. It shows you how to add a constraint to an armature bone that will track a target.
