A lot of textures created solely with filters have a uniformity or blandness that is usually not the case in the real world. Look around at old doors, hinges, stones and mortar and you'll an incredibly rich network of fine cracks, debris, damage and dirt. This tutorial explores a few ways to add some of these features to our images.
