It's finally here! After a delay of several months, I am now healed enough to begin watercolor painting. I won't be at Renderosity as in the past since I need to put all my attention into what is a new medium for me. I will pop in for a visit when I get a chance, and I will post something to my new watercolor gallery ARTWITHIN_III when I have more than the one image I was able to do before fracturing my wrist, and that is worth uploading.

Thank you for all your caring and support up to now. I appreciate each one of you immensely.

Peace! Suzanne

Artist's Quotes

"Art is harmony. Harmony is the analogy of contrary and similar elements of tone, of color, and of line, considered according to their dominants, and under the influence of a particular light, in gay, calm, or sad combinations . . . . Gaiety of tone is given by the luminous dominant; of color, by the warm dominant; of line, by lines above the horizontal."  Georges Seurat (1859-1891)

Monthly Theme

November 2008 Monthly Theme: "Changes"

This should bring many theme images since the theme is so broad. For me the change is going to be one of becoming inactive at Renderosity while I begin my watercolor journey. There is an obvious change, that of seasons, and the time changes that have already taken place in Europe, and will take place this weekend in the U.S. Also in the U.S., we will learn who the new President will be and whether there will be a “change” or not.  Changes in ourselves, family, and environment happen all the time and might make for some interesting images.

Happy creating!
Suzanne

MEET THE TEAM

AndyWelder (Andy Wachelder ) - My real name is Andy Wachelder but because I learned that this is hard to pronounce for the non-dutch my handle is AndyWelder

Born 1954 in Scheveningen, The Netherlands, a couple of hundred metres from the Northsea.  Nowadays I live in Eindhoven, with my girl friend, my two sons, eight cats and a dog.

SamTherapy (Paul A Bellamy)- I was born April 20 1959, Sheffield, UK. My pics fall into three categories; self expression, "I wonder if..." and total rubbish. I like to play around with ideas and they don't always work out. Still, the learning experience is always good.

I have spent most of my artistic career working in Photoshop, paint, pen and pencil. Discovered Poser a few years ago and I have fun with that, too.

Artists I look up to are many and varied, including Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Damien Hurst and many, many more. I admire and respect anyone who loves to create, whatever their choice of media or skill level.

What else is there to say? I do music, I do pictures, I do stuff. Have a nice life and be good to yourselves. And, of course, each other.
