I am new to this site and have been looking for a safe place to sell my Photoshop brushes for a while. I'm trying to figure out whether this site is for me or not. I have read over the FAQ about three times, but still, I have some questions:

1. What constitutes a Software Package or Utility Program? Do Photoshop Brushes fall under that category?
2. Am I allowed to sell the same product here as I do on another site at the same time?
3. I understand I am required to log in every five days to prove I'm still out there. Once I am logged in, is there something I must do to prove that I was there or does this get accounted for automatically?
4. Must I, as a New Vendor, make a certain amount of money with my three products or lose my spot in the MarketPlace?
5. When developing my README.txt file, it says I must include the copyright policy. Is there a certain one that I should list here? If not, How do I go about setting one of those in place?

A: Photoshop brushes are not software or a utility application.

2. Am I allowed to sell the same product here as I do on another site at the same time?

A: As long as you are not selling the item here at Renderosity under the exclusive clause, you may sell your item anywhere else at the same time as you choose. Only exclusive items to Renderosity Marketplace are not allowed to be sold anywhere else at the same time.

Exclusive products require a 60 day commitment once released into the MarketPlace. (non-exclusive items carry a 30 day product commitment).

4. Must I, as a New Vendor, make a certain amount of money with my three products or lose my spot in the MarketPlace?

A: You are not required to make a certain amount of money to have a store. However, vendors are limited to (3) items in their store at one time until they reach an amount of $300.00 in sales. After reaching $300.00 in sales they are allowed to have more items in their store.

Please also see the clearance section here, as you must make sales within a certain timeframe in order for your products to remain in the store.

5. When developing my README.txt file, it says I must include the copyright policy. Is there a certain one that I should list here? If not, How do I go about setting one of those in place?

A: The copyright is verfication that you have the right to sell your item, or have permission from others to sell. There is a 'readme generator' you can use here that should help you figure out what to write in your readme file.:

'Renderosity MarketPlace ReadMe File Generator' http://www.renderosity.com/news.php?viewStory=13758#15

If you are still unsure what to place in your readme, you can have a look at any merchants readme..it can be found to the left and under the product first promo image. {click the thumbnail and it is under the price}.

The readme must be placed in all zip folders, and uploaded again for online viewing by customers at time of upload.

You must also include the Renderosity License found here:

{just copy and paste into a txt document and save it for future products}

If you have further questions, please send an email to 'vendors@renderosity.com' and they can help you further.
