Response

A blog is a Web Log.  Mostly used to post journal or diary events.  Basically whatever you want to talk about.  They tend to be more personal than forums.  Just stay within our site Terms of Service.    Take a look at other blogs to get an idea.

A frequent, chronological publication of personal thoughts and Web links.

A blog is often a mixture of what is happening in a person's life and what is happening on the Web, a kind of hybrid diary/guide site, although there are as many unique types of blogs as there are people.

Blogs are alternatively called web logs or weblogs. However, "blog" seems less likely to cause confusion, as "web log" can also mean a server's log files.

The Renderosity blog area allows site members to create and post their own blog entries. Once logged in, a member may view his/her most recent posts, view all posts, or add a new post. Posts consist of a title, body, post date, and post time, and are listed in chronological order (most recent first) based on the date and time of post.

Members and visitors may also view members'  blogs. There are two views for the member blogs list: 'Most Active' and 'View All'. 'Most Active' lists all blogs that have posts within the last 15 days, ordered by the number of posts within that time period. 'View All' lists all available blogs, ordered by the most recent post. Users may also search the blog for a particular member's username or for a keyword or phrase in the title or body of a post.

While viewing a blog post, a member may comment on the post. Comments are listed in chronological order (most recent last) to preserve the continuity of the discussion of the post topic.
