Alone in the dark, alone in despair
Huddled in the corner, with noone to care
She cries to herself, her heart broken in two
Abandoned she sits, yet once, she was like you

Considerably darker in tone then my usual. Guess I was feeling a tad depressed yesterday. I was just sitting at work and all-of-a-sudden this flashed into my head (I am frequently depressed at work lol).

About 10 hours work in total using maya, poser5 and photoshopCS. Comments are much appreciated :) Something a bit lighter next time I think :)

Hey Hawke. I like the idea, composition and style, really. Couple of suggestions: What about a vignet(?)darken to outside edges and apply gausian blur to that area to focus on character more. Don't totally get rid of the light direction though. Also a touch of saturation and contrast can either bring out the colors or take them away, especially sat. This is kind of like my "A Cold Lonely Place" at Rotica. Also, maybe have her hands higher on to her shoulders trying to keep herself warm. It would give the effect that she is really lonely and cold. Ever stand in front of a mirror to see what the pose should look like?
One other thing...You go to the mods after this and I will track you down to the ends of the earth! LMOA
