Fantastic imagination you have my friend! This is a superb image, with a strong, thought provoking story to go with it. Fantastic work all round. The icing on the cake for me, is the toy plane you have added, nice touch!! Well done.

Strong image. I can relate to a degree, was adopted myself but fortunate to be adopted by a really great "dad" early in life. Wish I could be as great as he was for my kids. Peace to you big guy!

Excellent work Calum! I can just imagine the the child waiting for his Dad. You did a wonderful job on this. You are now a wonderful Dad for your children and that is what is important now!
I did have a fantastic Dad but he died of cancer when I was a mere 14 years old. I still miss him to this very day. Hugs...

Damn. What an image. And what a story. It's an amazing expression of your emotions. This is what art should do, what it should be.

Father or no father, someone did one hell of a great job raising you! I have found you to be one of the most kind, considerate, and caring people that I have come in contact with in this community. As far as your father goes, it's his loss. Hang in there Pal!

Awesome image Calum! and big hugs for the story behind it. This is one of the most powerful pairings of art and words I've seen in a long time and it brings out very strong emotions. I agree with Prog, someone did a great job and your father has no idea what he's missed out on. This definitely gets my vote :) Hugs again hon :)
