Childlike Hope - Alone
(with new beginnings)

She was sitting
on the edge of
the bed crying

Sighing(looking for...)

Head down reading some
lines(sometimes aloud)
between the tears

Straining(some sign...)

Cuts healing, the
pain still real,
but within-comfort

Souring(something...)

They said, "NO, YOU
STILL CANNOT GO!"
,
after her rantings

Staining(Please...)

Dried Blood on bedroom
floor, moves somelike
darkening memories

Sustaining(Show yourself...)

That place[position]
of her authority -
"I AM ME, DAMN IT!!!"

Spraining(Come On...)

Dependent quality
of the current
arrangemant-ANgST full

Starting(I am waiting...)

Combing her hair, now she pulls and
tugs at the brush - one long strand
falls - shapes an 'S' on the floor

Sure(What?!!?...)

Out-of-nowhere[twistedandbent]
comes to her(a visual) "...final 'S'
is usual mark of plural nouns."

SPIRIT(Okay???...)

"Try together, starting now
see what 'US' [family] brings
maybe? - brighter tomorrows."

Sanguine(Okaythen!!!...)

She listens, quietly to her own
voice, now "Who am I?" - (to herself), begins
the new journey - of discovery.

Sureness...
