Big panic this 60cm / 2 1/2 inch beauty caused panic but I managed to get it out the window without killing it.

wolf spider?? It certainly is not hobo, recluse or sac spiders as those three are poisonous, this appears to be a safe spider.

Yeah it's a Wolf. Venomous, but not aggressive at all unless you try to harm it! In fact, they are good to have around as they eat poisonous spiders for dinner!

Nice shot of this wolfie!

I found one on the back of one of my chairs in the basement earlier this week - almost 3 1/2 inches tip-to-tip... I'll post a shot of him later..
