The cougars were all piled into their cool little cave on Saturday; this is Miksa (the male) showing his vampire nature as he snoozes between his sisters.
Major storms blew through yesterday, leaving us without power for the evening, so once again I'm behind on comments. I hope to catch up today!

Neato shot of the Count Miksa snoozing in his bier, dreaming of his past conquests of lovely ladies with their pure alabasterlike necks he has taken advantage of. Being a vampire, he must avoid the sun at all costs, or be burned to a crisp.
That said, terrific ambiance and textures in this capture, Denise.
And, you get the nice cool wet storms, whereas we get the hot dry super temperatures down here in the Southland.

This is a super zoom Denise and a very cute photo. We have Florida Panthers in south Florida and they are about 20% smaller than Miksa bit the same color. I only saw one for a few seconds. There are only about 180 left and housing encroachment is destroying the habitat! I am also thinking that the 15 foot pythons and Boa Constructors have managed to reduce the panther population too.
