At the raptor show the barn owl decided he was done with his routine and flew to the nesting box, looked at everyone as if to say "That's all, folks!" and then went inside.

A star needs his privacy, after all! A year or so ago I came across a webcam of a barn owl box in Arizona from just eggs to the owlets fledging. I really MUST find that site again! I just love owls!

Obviously, a most unusual pose in this unique shot of the barn owl, who thinks it's a male peacock with that spread of feathers, Denise. Great ambience of color, clarity, patterns and texture in this capture.
