"Monster" by Steppenwolf ********************************************** So I've been watching what's been going on with our government, both federal and others... I've just got a few questions. What happened to the 6th and 14th Amendments to the Constitution? Is it still the law or merely a suggestion now? We have drones killing American citizens because the government assures us they're terrorists. We have LA cops burning people alive because they assured us they've killed people. But last time I checked, the 6th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States read: "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense." The 14th: "Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this. We have this so that the government CAN'T run around and arbitrarily decide who needs to be killed and who doesn't without first airing all the grievances and facts of the case. Now, I've gotten called some pretty heinous things because of my stance on this issue. "You support terrorists", "Terrorist whore (and or slut)" that was one of my favorites. "You're just crushing on these deviants, I hear Charlie Manson is still single, bet you want to fuck him, too." Seriously? I don't care if someone was eating small children on Main Street at high noon in front of thousands of witnesses, that person has a right to a trial by jury. When we take away the right to a trial for some people, all people lose that right. So call me a terrorist whore if it fulfills your need. But understand, I would fight just as hard for your right to be heard and to face your accusers as I would for anyone else. You got this far? I'll be damned... You people have a good one. If we make an exception for one we have to make an exception for all and then the next thing you know they will make exceptions for killing US citizens with drones flying over US airspace. I applaud your guts and strength to stand up and say these things. This is a truly epic image and very symbolic. I am sure that they will find some reason to remove it because it offends someones delicate sensibilities. If I could hug you right now for this message I would. I love my country with all my heart and would lay my life down for it in a second but I think my Government is out of control and is destroying what I hold dear. |

| Its not just the 6th and 14th amendments. The whole Bill of Rights is under assault, from the P.C. bullies smothering the 1st to the constant attacks on the 10th and state's rights through the courts. The Constitution is like an arch, take out one piece and the whole thing collapses. |
