Greetings Folks..

Well finally after an eternity here IS the next new Eagles post! I did this quick and as a bit of fun really, Rose had just gotten that rather cool Big Ben prop so I thought I'd trash it lol

As far as I know during the Battle Of Britain, or the following Blitz Big Ben was never hit directly by a bomb OR a crashing aircraft.. But, as it was a real mess for years, don't quote me there..

The Big Ben prop is free I think..
The Spitfire is one of Neils, obviously in the usual place!
And the great He111 is Touchwoods, on here!

Enjoy, I finished it here, used sepia and added frame etc...

Holy smoke mate... where did this one come from!!!

Very impressive and cool small details like one wheel partly down.

Also looks so much better in that tone than if it were in colour. It could almost be a picture from the front page of the Times Newspaper... "Big Ben In Near Miss Shock!"

A bit inconsiderate bombing when it's time for afternoon tea though.

Nice work, and I like the sepia tint. What time is it? 4:43 pm, time to hit the silk.

It looks like that smoking Heinkel He, with its landing gear down, is close to clipping off, or at least scraping, the top of Big Ben in this neat rendering, Rob.
Really cool effects and clarity in this one.

This Heinkel won't be in need of refueling and rearming. But the pilot and crew will be around for awhile at the expense of their British hosts (assuming they can land this cripple):)

Very creative the way you assemble bits and pieces in such a render.

Excellent image - but was the Heinkel that huge - or is Big Ben that small?

A really excellent render with all these elements, Rob! Definitely looks like Big Ben is about to get clipped by a wing tip!
