| Born in the small village of Kulka on the outskirts of the Vartanian Empire, Sarah always dreamed of making her way to the capital of Neroon and becoming one of the famous Stormcrows. With this goal in mind, she trained hard and long - despite her parents' wishes that she continue work on the family farm. Eventually the day came and she left home for the magnificent heart of the Empire. Her dedication and hard work paid off and she entered service as an Imperial soldier, quickly catching the eye of the Stormcrows. In a few years she had earned her commission and began to rise in rank. As one of their best, Sarah was selected to travel across the Storm Sea to the land of Caladon where, as part of an agreement to foster peace between the once warring nations, she would serve on the Sciath - the barrier that seperated the people of Caladon from the cursed Sourland to the north. However, the things that Sarah witnessed there proved harrowing and, upon her return home, she suffered severe post-traumatic stress and was deemed unfit for duty among the Stormcrows. A period of despair fell upon her and, for a time, she was lost. Then, a chance encounter with a Laurencian called Aran Montoya led to a freindship that helped pull her out of her depression. In time, Sarah rehoned her skills and soon became one of Neroon's most sought after bounty hunter and private mercenary. Her friendship with Aran continues, and they even work together on occassion. Sarah perhaps would like the relationship to become something more, but she gets the feeling that Aran is holding onto something in his heart that will forever make him unobtainable. ***** So, as Sarah Masters is next to be introduced, here is a little background on her. She is easily the more serious-minded of the group, the consumate professional. As you can imagine, there is often friction between her and Monika... Thanks for looking and for any comments left!
