Greeting Folks...

Still wrestling with this PC so please bear with me here.. The descriptions aren't ass detailed as normal.. I have no access to most of my photos at the moment.. (worrying!!)

Anyway, also taken at last years Flying Legends at Duxford is this Supermarine Spitfire MkVB or IXC.. The angle is not helping here lol
Both had twin cannons..

I'll try to get another better shot up with a more detailed description etc at a later point..
Thank you

Enjoy
Rob

It sounds like ya need a new poooooter mate! Great shot. I much preferred the look of these elliptical wing tips over the clipped off ends, even though the squared off version did apparently provide an improved roll rate and better low-altitude performance.

A perfect view of the beautiful silhouette of the Spitfire! What an elegant plane.

Outstanding clarity and contrast in this shot of the Spitfire, as it soars across the sky, Rob. I love the shape of the wings.
And, if I have any problems with my Mac, I'll be going out of my mind. If my computer isn't purring along on all cylinders, it's sleepless nights for me.

Beauty! Possibly the most graceful-looking fighter ever built. Spitfires soar... other planes just fly :)

I like this angle of the Spitfire Rob. Nicely captured. Did you back up your aircraft pictures on a external hard drive?
