"What the hell you mean you lost them, Marcus!?"
Marcus rolled his eyes. "They're runnin' some kind of super-hot engine in that car an' we're stuck with this stock SUV that can't take these corners like that Jag can. An' St. Clair drives like a freeking maniac. They got on some windy road along the coast and opened it up. We saw them on the curve about a mile up from us then they disappeared around the hill and evidently took a different fork than we did. We tried back-tracking....but...."
"Can it Marcus. I don't want to hear excuses. You were sloppy and they must have seen you and caught on. Those two are wiley. It's my guess you aren't even anywhere near where they were headed. You and Joe go back to London and get yourselves home. Next time, I'm sending someone who won't screw up!! And make sure you take that GPS unit with you before you return the car."
"Yes, boss," Marcus drawled with a sigh, and cut the connection. He got back in the SUV not saying anything, but clearly he was not happy.
"We're on that 'list' now, aren't we?" Joe said.
"Yup. Time to go home and face the music. Wouldn't be surprised if we got sent back to KC to deal with the zombies."
Thank you so much for stopping by my gallery dear friends! I hope your week is a good one.

Well darn the luck...... hey it's okay though..... Tell him zombie issue in KC is pretty well taken care of. We have them all in one location, now..... I work there.... LOL!
I have to giggle when I look at his face; that expression is priceless and perfect! You did great on this Ray, but then that's no surprise either! :-)
