Greetings Folks,

Here from last years Flying Legends Airshow (complete with pilot), is from the right;
Republic P-47G Thunderbolt 'Razorback'..."Snafu/WAR EAGLE"..
This is in the colours of an aircraft from the 78th Fighter Group based actually at Duxford during the war.. This IS of course based at Duxford! lol

Curtiss P-40F Warhawk "Lees Hope".. This is also based at Duxford and owned by The Fighter Collection.. Its a fabulous paint scheme!

Curtiss P-40B Warhawk.. The oldest Warhawk in the world and one that flew during the Pearl Harbour raid.. This is a very rare bird.. Notice the chin differences..

I hope you enjoy this, you will see these flying soon..

Is that guy on his "mobile"? :-) looks like he's worn a bald patch in the grass marching on the spot....
One of my fave little line ups of last year, the P-47 was a dream and the 3 marks of P-40 were very impressive.I also loved the paint scheme on 'Lee's Hope'...well, it'll soon come around again :-)

I agree with Jeff about the sky - wonderfully crisp and colourful, Rob.

These WWII beauties in full painted regalia in this awesome capture, Rob! Hard to discern, but is the pilot on his cellphone?
In any event, stunning clarity, color, contrast and sky effects, mate.

A really great shot of these old warbirds, Rob! They look superb, and the guy with the World War II pilot's outfit adds to the authenticity! Excellent!

Yeah, the early model P-40 is on my wishlist re Flying Tigers and such, I guess that one has even got the right markings for Pearl Harbor. Thanks for wetting my appetite!

Terrific line up Rob.
I always think the 'Razorback' Thunderbolt looks a lot meaner that the bubble top.
Nice tailwork on the P-40 :)
