grand old car. I also hope they continue to restore it.
A very beautiful start! They really need to finish this one
great capture of a dream in progress
Make it a 1969 Chevy Nova and we got a deal. But still looks like fun.
Aww, too bad it got to this stage, but the bones are still good ;) Lovely capture of this beauty!
Superb capture Tara.
I would love to have this car, nice shot.
That would make a great hot rod.
Maybe that was what was most needed or just what was available at the time.Nice shot of this old time classic.
My god. Still such a magical car. I love everything about him. The soft, generous curves. The running board, the door handles, the large cooler, the small casement window ... so many lovely details. A car with style. A baby when it is rebuilt.
The last pre-war model. Certainly worth the effort. I love these old cars and admire the people who work to keep them alive.
Its all about the lines, the Decco look, the build quality. There are collectors these days that want cars in this condition feeling that to restore them is not right...something is lost when the original patina is gone. Sounds like antique furniture, doesn't it:) Nice job...hope we find lots more during our future travels.
A distinguished vehicle,
My brother went through a street rod phase when he was younger, and lowered the roof on a car of this vintage, only to find that he could not sit upright !
While he was still modifying it with a Perspex bubble on top it was in a fire... There's a moral somewhere.
In need of a lot of TLC just like all of us!!
Your different angle gives it a whole new dimension! Hard to describe how it looks to me other than just impressive!
wonderful old beauty
Looks fantastic. A little Turtle Wax and its like new. Good luck with that beauty.
It looks half decent I've seen a lot worse.
Awww! I certainly hope so, looks like its been primed (or at least stripped ready) for a respray.. Thats good.. Great find Tara!
Great capture of this awesome old Packard!!
Stunning capture! If I had the time, skills and money I would have loved to restore a car like this.
Long time ago a friend of mine had one of these...very cool...nice shot
A very nice rusty Packard :)
Could be a really beautiful car again. WOnderful capture :)
I too hope that this beauty will be restored. :)))) I bet it takes forever to do such a job. :) We have alot of older cars and trucks that people drive around here. :))) More so in the Summer than in the winter. :)))) Most excellent capture my friend. :)))) Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :)))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :)))))
