... You will wake him!
I've turned off ratings for my images. If you like my work, comment Please. If you like some of them enough, then please favorite them, but never feel obligated to do either. I love to see your comments. It helps me grow in my art, and it also feels good. But, I won't play games with ratings, that's just freaking silly.

Be wary qwiet, I'm hunting Wabbits...Super work man. I don't mess with Ratings either, haven't enabled them in years, anyone whose Image I view that has them enabled automatically gets a 5, they're freaking usless unless you strive for the Art Charts, I could give a Sh!t Less about the Art Charts.

i have and never will rate below a 5. we all work hard at the images we do. and i have been given low rates in past Seth, hope no one shamed you my friend. your work is always 5+ in my view. and this is a great example. i think they should replace the rate system with a fave category or remove them entirly or allow more space for most commented.

I have to agree....art should be rated on its own merit and not to strive for elitism as one of the popular folks. Every piece of art must stand on its own! I like this picture here, a pose of secrets, and a lot of curiosity as to who "he" is..not sure I want to know!

I'm like "eekdog", if I do rate everyone gets a 5 automatically for the work they've put into their image. Some artists I follow I know no matter what they post they're going to be a 5 (or a 10 if it were possible) just because they're so insanely talented at this medium.
I've had them enabled since I started posting but still pay little attention to them in the grand scheme of things. The "art" I do, I do for me. It pleases me when something I've created hits a chord with others, but as far as the charts go I pay little attention to them. I've landed on them a couple of times and still to this day have really no idea as to why. I'm far from the best at any of this stuff whether it's composing a scene or postworking it.
It's pretty hard to go up against professional graphic artists that have decades of experience and just plain natural raw talent and win. But that's not why I do this anyway. I do it for the relaxation and it beats the hell out of watching the boobtube it the evening for what that industry has decided to call entertainmet these days.
This one leaves a lot of unanswered questions. I hope it's just because "he" needs a well deserved rest... maybe a follow up?

If things run true to form, she's only get her top open coz the kid yanked on it, and the two of them are about to engage in a passionate session of SNORING as they get some desperately needed SLEEP!
You're the second one I've seen mention ratings... KnightWolverine being the other.
'S going on??
Someone need a "smack up the head"? You know I'm your guy!

Excellent scene, with many possible interpretations !
Concerning the ratings, I totally agree with you, Seth !
As you may have noticed, I decided a few weeks ago to disable ratings on my images, just because they have no real signification. They should be used, as they are intended to, to give a value between 0 to 5. But in fact, all the people that use ratings always give 5 ... and that's what I did until i decided not to rate anymore. The main reason is that, given the politic of rating, a rating less then 5 will be considered as 'offensive' by the author and a second reason is that I don't feel that I have the right to judge the other's work quality. If I have an advice to give, I use the comment and if i really like an image, I put it in my favourites. Well, just my opinion ;)

This mysterious scene is open for much interpretation, I can't decide if it's creepy or run-of-the-mill family stuff she's on about =D very well done, Seth! I really like the lighting in this one.
I agree with the ratings thing & quite glad that I'm not alone~ I've been enabling ratings since joining just under 3 years ago because I thought it would be seen as *anti-social* if I didn't. I think I'll turn ratings off as well from now on, they make me feel uncomfortable anyway.

Very cool moody artwork!
I stopped with the ratings thing about 2 years ago. As for faves, If I like it enough to comment, then I fave it. If I find I don't much like something, then I don't comment. But that's just me. And if I don't comment it does not mean that I did not liek the image, it might just be a time thing. Sometimes I fave and don't comment. LMAO!! I'm all over the place! Silly me.
