| Greetings One and All Fellow Artists and Friends. Here's the next one in no particular order of creation from the Objects and Shapes Series. Since I was into Sci-Fi mode this past couple of weeks I had decided to do something that involved a Fractal and combined the 2 together and came up with this one that I sub titled "The Last Star Fighter" for your viewing pleasure.. Once again I was playing with mirrors and this was the results from that. Thanks for your continued support/comments/favs and for just being You!. ~Will~ Created in Apophysis 7X and Bryce Pro 7 using basic objects and shapes with added post work in Photoshop Elements 8. See you Friday with more from the Vaults of the Fractal Factory... ~smiles~ *NOTE* Some have site mailed me in regards as to why I turned off the "ratings" below my images and since it seems to concern some I decided to explain to those who follow my work that I did so because some I've been told are purposely "low" rating others images to help thin out their competition as they feel threatened by those that actually deserve said ratings and I'm not going to get caught up in some childish folks games and believe that those that do this need to get a life and grow up. IMO if I take the time to view your work that means I like it and don't view it just to view it as some call a click for a click and if your ratings is on I have always chosen "5" as I believe that is what it deserves. As for adding to my favorites I look at it as If I took the time to view it then it's going in my favorite folder period....So by turning off my ratings I am just one less person you can do that to and I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.Sorry if this is an issue for some but that's who I am and how I roll and those that know me know I'm not into mind games.I'm no more than a self taught artist that enjoys others art and is why I'm here and for all the wonderful friendships I have made along the way.. According to the stats I've been part of this community since 2003 and come November it will be my 10 year anniverssary and I have honorably saved artist's work 12,220 times and counting... That's a statistic even I still have a hard time grasping...lol... |

I am 100%+ in agreement with you on this. Your artwork never stops amazing me:) This is beautiful !! I have tried to comment on this three times now and it would not go through so I am hoping that this time is a winner:)I hope that all is well with you up there in your neck of the woods. We went fishing yesterday and caught some nice redfish and grouper ! We are having it for dinner tonight:)If I had a way to keep it fresh, I would send you some ! LOL, Will, I turned ratings off a long time ago, because I found it really has little or nothing to do with the quality of the work, and everything to do with how may people's galleries you can get to and how many of those you fave. Much as I'd like to go to everyone's galleries, I can't, sadly, I have a life outside of the virtual one, and I do have to take care of that life, too. Dunno why I even started faving, except that it is a way to let someone know I like their work. I can find beauty in even the not so well created stuff, and besides, it encourages newbies to keep trying. So what if my faves thingy is overflowing. Rendo can deal with since they won't let me clear out the old faves and keep the newer ones. Personally, I don't care if someone faves me or not. I jsut like the comments of those who take time with what they say, you know? |
