Greetings Folks,

This worked!
If you've seen the film, (which I have to confess I love! lol), you'll get this straight away..

The Spaceships, were part of a pack that came from ShareCG by someone who I've totally forgotten.. Sorry if you are them.. (please own up, they are very good!)..
These are only two of the several in that pack..

The Mirage is by Bazze, so nuff said there.. Its available (or was) Free from his website..

Sky is by RichardsPhotos (THANKS :-)..)

All photoshop, Picasa 3 and frame work was done here once made later..

I hope you like.. Glad you liked the Brain Coral, I thought that was erm, different lol
Enjoy
Rob

"Oh no, you did not shoot that green sh*t at me."

Excellent render Rob and a fine tribute to the film.

What next... Star Trek :)

If that is Richard's sky, this must be Texas. Glad the French have come to pitch in! We needed them once before:)

Yup, I'm a fan of the movie too...

Although the ET spacecraft in the original Independence Day were so massive that they covered most of the sky, this is one fabulous depiction of the Second Coming, Rob, this time with fleets of smaller triangular craft coming to invade and destroy much of the earth. The humans have joined forces in response and sent up their most advanced warplanes in an effort to counter the blatant and deadly intrusion. It is a fight to the death.
That said, sterling colors, lighting and overall composition, mate!

I love the scene. Strangely, those Horten-shaped stealth "saucers" always looked a bit post-WW2 "Anglo-German" to me. Mmmm. Perhaps King George has come back!!! OMG! Through a Worm Hole this time... for another go at the Land of the Free??? With a little help from Hawker-Dehavilland's special projects department?

One if by land...
Two if by Sea
THREE... if by... SPACE!!!

A fantastic image, Rob, and yes I love that movie too!

You really nailed the lighting on this one my friend - a superb job!

I've got that package of UFO's too.... I can't remember the guys name that created these, but all of them are accurate representations of descriptions given of actual UFO sightings.
