| Greetings Folks, O.K. so there are technically three fiddlers here, but I liked the title so it stuck.. This was taken outside one of the tents at the Military Pageant, in Stamford.. During a gap in the gunfire and screams of bloodshed! lol Note to Bill, I've found the shot of the Rapide at Dayton mate.. Upcoming soon.. And note to all, lol FINALLY, my site is fixed, there are a few new photos on it..  | Well that's definitely Oliver Hardy on guitar, are you sure they're not playing 'Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia' :-) The woman on the fiddle looks like a prep-school music teacher, eyes shut, imagining she's playing at The Royal Albert Hall...the guy on the penny whistle looks like he doesn't know the tune and is trying to pick it up from the fiddle....this lot have X-Factor winners written all over them....today the English Civil War, tomorrow THE WORLD!!!muhahaaa!!! Great candid camera work...given that it's a Military Pageant, they didn't think the costumes through too well did they??? |

The violinist appears to be really in seventh heaven with that expression on her face. And was that urn down below supposed to be a receptacle for monetary donations? |
