This is as "good as it gets" for ME on my machine...I simply CAN'T render any larger image, so it's useless to me....that makes me SO sad... I love Howie Farkes scenes more than any in any software, ever! So if anyone makes any new "background packages" with this and the incredible latest "Valley Alpina" (DAZ) set he just created (that crashes my Carrara 8 Pro the minute I try to move around in it) I would buy them in a snap! I just obviously do not have the machine for this software and can't afford to buy one to use it. *sigh*

It's disappointing when you have software that require more resources we can give is my case with Vue8... In any case, it is a superb landscape!

oh thank you, but it's WAY TOO SMALL to be used for a backgound in my art... that's the problem. :( I have thought about Vue 6I - which I have, but instead going to try pushing my Poser 7 for landscapes and hopefully have my people and animals right in them! It will never be this realistic though.

Lyne I have a thread on the Carrara pages on Daz and I know I'm VERY lucky to have a Dual Hex Core xeon 12 procs/24 threads with 48gb ECC Ram and a 3 Gig 7850 and I cant navigate Valley Alpina without turning everything down to the lowest setting, it needs some mighty big resources, his stuff is amazing though and shows what Carrara can really do..

Really nice looking image. You could try adding more memory to your computer. Vue kept crashing on my computer till I added more memory (12GB) and now it is more stable. Might work for you making a larger image. - Bob

The size may not be as big as you wanted, but it is a beautiful scene for sure! It is a lovely spot to just sit and enjoy some quiet.

A fantastic picture Lyne. I can understand your disappointment, and not only me appreciated this work as well.
Thanks and all the best.

Such a shame because if you did have the right computer you would surely make exceptional pics in this style, this one is breathtaking! hugs Jane xx
