| A Good Monday to all~ More ~tAP~ today for your reading/viewing pleasure. I'm going for my pain injections tomorrow, still a little nervous, but the physical therapy made me worse rather than better *sigh* so these injections are the next step. Onto the story~~~ "An impressive show of power and respect, gentlemen," Imvarl finally voiced, "but this has greatly delayed our journey." "How much further to the shrine anyway?" Timor asked, walking to & picking up his mace. "By my judgment it's another hour at the very least. We can continue if you insist, but I would strongly recommend now waiting until dawn," Oswyn urged, still seated on the ground. Imvarl looked around as if listening rather that seeing, then nodded in agreement, "A sensible course of action, and with this grove easily warded you all shall be safe to take turns resting." Gilmud looked up at the Eladrin, "Then yer not stayin' with us, are ye? Wish that you would, ol' man Winter..." Imvarl approached Gil, crouching down, "I must return to Shadow Graedgherion to...discuss...some business with Njal. Do not worry, my good friend, I shall keep watch over you all from afar." The Dwarf took his slender, icy cold hand and held it tightly for a moment. He then turned toward Ares and began to approach her. Ares walked toward him, "Imvarl, it was a pleasure to meet you, sir, and thank you..." her voice hushed as she added, "...for everything." Imvarl smiled at her and unhooked the clasp on his cloak. He removed the garment as he moved closer to her and draped it around her shoulders. She looked up at him, puzzled, "You have already given me a wondrous gift...why another?" He hooked the clasp and took her shoulders, "It will keep you warm should the icy chill of Winter finds you, child. And I did not give you a wondrous gift, my Lady Ares, I just helped you unwrap the one you were born with." Her emotions welled up at his caring words but she held her composure. She nodded to him. Timor struggled to act aloof and not pay too much attention to their farewells but he could not keep his eyes off Ares. Oswyn noticed his peering and looked up at Gil, motioning for her to sit next to him. As she did he said, "Lady Gilmud, may I ask...are Timor and Lady Ares...handfasted?" Gil could not help but smile brightly, "I'm gettin' an awful lot of that question as of late." He looked at her awaiting the answer. She whispered, "Not yet," and winked at him. He smiled softly with a faint nod of his head. (FYI: 'Handfasted' means 'married', for those of you unfamiliar with the term)~ Many thanks for your comments/faves on my previous image, they’re always very much appreciated. by SidheRoseGraphics on Jan 14, 2013 7:38:12 pm [homepage] Firstly, I hope all goes well with your shots Jude - that they do the trick for you and there are no ill side-effects. I like that: "I just helped you unwrap the one you were born with". Well said. Sweet of him to give her his cloak too. Lol, seems like those around them know what's going on between them (Ares and Timor)...but they're just waking up to it. Wonderful chapter and image to go with, hon :) | |
Good luck with the medication. This is a really great story.

Good POV and scene. | |
by KnightWolverine on Jan 15, 2013 11:19:52 am [homepage] Depending on the location of the injections(assuming they are lower back/spine) that you'll want to bring something to "bite" down on as I have had these pain injections as part of my back reabilitation process 3 times in 6 years as they don't allow more than one session every 2 years and I "do" look forward to them believe it or not.....and not to make you nervous....just aware....that they are painful and if you get a doctor that enjoys inflicting said shots then I'm going to just say good luck then...
Fantastic scene, great composition and good luck with the injections.
