Sonya shows us her cybernetic prosthetic, installed after losing her arm in the line of duty while serving in the Hadron Crater.

Though part of her role is to promote the new technology, this particular photoshoot was NOT endorsed by Mordecai Universal Technologies!!

***

Just a fantasy image inspired by "Torn Skies".

On another note, does ANYONE know where I can get a GOOD cyberarm for V4?? This one was taken from the M4 Cyberpunk set and was a PAIN IN THE ASS to get to fit! Yeah, it looks okay, but I don't relish the idea of all the jiggery-pokery everytime I want to show Sonya with her arm!

Any suggestions???

I've tried merging the Aiko bot on previous images and, while it's "okay" it's not really what I'm after.

Fembot also not so good.

ANYONE know of V4 cyberware like this??

Cheers.

Thanks for looking and for any comments.

Big Z

(wan't sure if this fell into pin-ups or sci-fi, but I sided with pin-ups given the skin on show)

I've no idea, since I don't dabble in cybernetic figures. It looks good Alex, but I don't blame you for not wanting to mess with it so much every time. Hopefully someone will know. Sonya looks great - but of course!

Juse thought of something...can you try just texturing her hand, nails, forearm and shoulder with something shiny and metallic?

Big Z, try Cyborg Version 4 from DAZ (you will need the DSON Installer) but it's for V4). It's currently on sale too!

Congrats on rebuilding your gallery mate. I am just about there rebuilding my Runtime (Never Again!) but it does feel great.

As for what to do next - how about your take on a FAWL bout?

You could try this: get some smooth long gloves, then modify the diffuse, spec, bump and disp texes from the M4 Cyberarm to fit it. Hey, never said anything about it being easy. But it could be done that way.

Wow... crisp and beautiful Zander. I'm not sure where to find an arm for her either, my best bet would for sure be Daz. 100th coming up eh? cool... I remember deleting my gallery here years ago. Lots of work down the drain, but those first works of mine really sucked. Poser 4 stuff that looked like Poser 4 stuff.

Great render!

Just a thought, might work, might not... can you take the texture of the arm and fit it to the V4 limb map maybe through PS or Gimp?

Well I not too sure what the look you want, but you the arm of V4 Cyborg, you can just prop the parts you need and parent then to her...

Wow! 100th again... well I hope to see 100 more, and then some... What will it be, I know you'll think of something! and it will be cool...

Have a good week!

She really looks good, Alex! The skin looks soft, and is a nice contrast with the cybernetic arm.

I was going to suggest the same thing Ray did - you might take a look at some Parrotdolphin's metal materials - if I remember correctly I think there's something in there that might work for this. I'll take a look shortly and see what is in my runtime..

I can definitely relate to what you're saying - having to do a lot of little bits of fiddling for each render can definitely be time-consuming - I found that out, indeed! :-)
