My neighbors have been looking for a goat to sacrifice to the Gods. People all over are running around in a panic and wondering why the sky is crying. I have to keep reminding them that it is just rain. Yes, its been that long since we had a good wetting but this last week has been making up for the deficit.

I had taken a picture of the entrance to my condominium complex some time ago. Inspired by the rain and the impending melting of the polar ice caps I envisioned what that entrance might look like once the flooding was complete. And then I kind of just went nuts with the post work.

WOW! This powerful and dynamic composition is something I should definitely cross the room to examine in a gallery .
It has the ZAP/POW factor for sure!

LOL, Mark!
interesting composition and idea
makes me think of the Bill Cosby routine on his album, 'Bill Cosby is a funny fellow, RIGHT!' where the Lord is talking to Noah about building an Ark

Right!

I agree with Ernesto * LOL *
Without looking at your words, my first association .... looks like a picture of Linda (hipps13). Shapes and lines and water.
Your picture is an architectural Arche Noah ....

Well... that's ONE way to get an indoor pool!
:)
Crazy effect on the sky!
Oh, and tell your neighbours that they need chickens, not goats.

Very cool shot and postwork! I love the lines, lighting, and gritty texture. We too have seen some leaky skies of late. Unfortunately it has been of the drizzly, halfhearted nature. The drought still has a pretty firm grip on Texas. With the polar ice caps melting, it may be the Gulf lapping on our doorsteps that bring us the wet stuff.
