|The lovely model on the right is Rhiannon's Maxi.
The beauty on the left is Alyah's Thalia.
The beautiful wood floor texture is courtesy of Alyah. Thank you Jayme! Unfortunately you can't see the true beauty of it due to the lighting I used. But it IS beautiful!
Now, I HAVE to ask you all a question and I want an honest answer. I will know who took the time to actually read this based on your answer, lol. Bear in mind there is NO right or wrong answer. Popular opinion, dictated to us by the media would call these ladies OBESE. This is a matter of personal opinion so please answer honestly:
What do you think of the body shape of these ladies? Would you call these women obese (fat)?
I am wondering because, personally I find women with real curves like this to be far more attractive than the boney, skinny, runway models that are touted as being the example for girls today of what they SHOULD look like.
But, perhaps that's just me. What do the average people of America REALLY think? I put it to YOU to provide the answer.

Well, I think that they have nice curves...but I KNOW that is not the feeling of the entertainment industry. When someone can call Jennifer Lawrence obese, or the fat actress, then we KNOW something is wrong with the perspective that people have.
I think these two are very pretty!!!
I prefer some curves on women, I don't think we should base our tastes on what's dictated by pop culture. All women are beautiful regardless of their shapes. The only exemptions to that should be if the person is unhealthy, either very overweight/underweight...
Great render! Good question!
Mike, this absolutely kicks butt! I just picked up Maxi the other day, and I've had Thalia for a while - I hope to start doing a lot more work after the holidays when things calm down and I get a little bit more time to play.
As to your question, I definitely would not consider these women to be obese. I'm right there with you and Seth; quite frankly I like a little junk in the trunk!
I think probably the skinniest model that I use in renders is Arawen - partly because I like the idea of a skinny little waif that can absolutely kick your butt if she has a mind to.
Anyway I think this is an awesome render my friend - super work with the lighting, buddy!
I hope you and Holly have an outstanding Christmas and a prosperous new year!
Neither woman is fat or obese, not even close to that definition!
Great work and interesting question
NO FRIGGING WAY ARE THESE WOMEN 'FAT'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a very sensitive issue for me. I was a young teen when Twiggy was all the rage. I had curves, I had boobs, I had great legs, but the g-damned media convinced me I was fat. Now these size 0 models are doing to a whole new generation.
wowoww!! both are exceptional gals from these vendors who always have a knockout models Mike. lovely lighting and super render my friend/Happy Holidays..
The average woman is a size 12 or 14. I think they are both lovely Mike.
Oh WOW!!! This is fantastic, Mike! The floor came out awesome, it was my pleasure :) ...butt wow, lol what a setup you got there, this setting is beautiful and again the white back only adds to it. I like this new style you been producing.
I don't think when it comes to love or even sexual attraction , that there is such as thing as weight per say. One likes what it likes and just so this is not a one sided issue women also have some very specific preferences and they aren't talked about too much, lol. There are of course persons in both sexes who are obese and lose some of the necessary silhouette shape for humans to perceive as the desirable in physical beauty. But even that changes throughout times and places. These two are beautiful as poser models. Thalia has always been one of my favorite characters :)
Thank you so much for this dedication, Mike. This is awesome and what a surprise, buddy! WOW! Terrific. Merry Christmas, Bro!
Very lovely scene and ladies Mike they look amazing. Love the floor and mirror reflections also.
I certainly don't find either of these girls obese or fat, curvy, yes, sexy, yes, fat, no...
Wishing you and Holly a safe and Merry Christmas my friend!!
I agree here with all other comments Friend - Merry Christmas and enjoy the quiet days
I also agree here with all other comments Mike, the image is just superb done.....amazing work love it.
Have a wonderful Christmas time with your family my friend.
I like your characters. I've always had a thing for women with curves and shapely hips and bosoms, but I still have a thing for a thin tummy. I guess I like the 'Aiko' shape that you've used in your picture, which is totally unrealistic, but that's what has been idealized over the years and has left a lasting impression. What Dawn (1010) said it true, the average American woman is around a size 12, so that should be our ideal.
Neither of them even remotely shows up on the radar for being considered 'fat' but it is unfortunate that the media would perceive them as such. It's a little telling on how much money is to be made from retouching photos for magazines as opposed to just simply letting natural beauty shine through, even among popular and conventionally attractive models/actresses.
Wonderful picture. Both of the ladies are real beauties, and neither one is remotely obese.
Mikey, Mikey, Mikey - lol... do we really have to say NO these girls are not obese... obese is FAT - do these girls look fat to you? my Wife has more meat on her body than these women, and my wife is not fat. lol
Absolutely marvelous render my friend, fine reflexions and setting, fantastic work!
I agree with Seth (barryjeffer) and I prefer the one on the left. Just a question of taste wich has something to do with an alchemic ideal that does'nt come from media or else...
Lovely scene and great work !!!
