It belongs to No 2 Mechanical Transport Sqn (RAF) based at RAF Wittering, and is part of No 85 (Expeditionary Logistics (EL)) Wing!! There you go!

There sand coloured one on the back, is actually part of the Historical collection they have.. It is now retired, the BEASTS they drive for heavy stuff I'll show you son. Lol

Also in the No85 Logistics Wing, are;

I have the T-shirt as worn by the No2 Unit and wear it with pride! lol

Enjoy..

Ah... the sand one was an Atkinson then.
A good truck, I drove these while working for a haulage firm years ago.

Thanks mate this is a stunning combo of trucks, I still have my HGV Licence so I wouldn't mind giving that Volvo a spin :)

" the BEASTS they drive for heavy stuff I'll show you soon"....... so this is just the 'light' haulage then?...can't wait.
I have the N03 Mobile Catering Sqn t-shirt, it has a very unusual Bully Beef & Gravy stain motif all down the front :-)LoL!!!

Excellent clarity, color and detail in this sterling POV of the handsome lorries, Rob.
You are so blessed with all that grass below your feet!

Almost need panorama mode for that one! When travelling it always pays to take a little runabout like that along with you- always far easier to park it at the shops! ;-)
