Nothing special about this image, it just happened to be one I liked taken in the town centre. I posted this image on a well know social web site in a group for bus photographs. Again, nothing special there. However, I had a complaint about it. A bus driver commented that they were annoyed that people didn't ask permission before taking thier pictures, not the chap in this image).
Whilst I agree that asking permission for some shots would be polite, it's a bit difficult if the bus is moving. I can understand the comment as it must be an irksome occupational hazard on occasion. I must admit it would be strange if someone was photographing me whilst I worked.

If you appear in public you have to get used to the possibility of being photographed. When I am at our state capitol building, families often take videos or snap group shots of their family in the surrounding grounds. I couldn't tell you how many tourists have me walking in the background of their family travel photos, etc. I used to be annoyed by this but it now just makes me feel like mugging for the shot - to put a little undiscovered humor in their vacations. Nicely done.
