The man sat at his table barely holding in his rage as he finished sharpening his knives and moving onto servicing his firearms. The source of what was angering him was apparent as his apprentice continued whining for the fifth time about his own discomfort.
“Haven’t you been paying attention? How do you stand it? I think my bandages are too tight. Is it supposed to itch and ache like this? This is driving me crazy! Is there some sort of hitman secret to ignoring it? Come on, you’re supposed to be teaching me…”
The Voice put down his half assembled custom four fifty four pistol and hefted his Cold Steel Tanto as he spoke between his clinched teeth.
“Cut…it…out.”
“But the doctor said we have to leave the bandages on for a few days so it heals right. Don’t you remember? How do you stand it? Even through the medication it aches. I’m pretty sure I don’t have to tell you how much it hurts down there, too. I don’t see how you can sit down. Are you taking more of the pain pills than he said to, or are you using something from Jenkins’ brand of pain killers?” Echo continued blathering.
“No, and I said ‘Cut it out’, as in take a knife to the stitches and pull out the implants.” Voice put as simply as he could.
“What do you mean?” Echo began asking until the man with the knife had opened his shirt to show his student that he had already done what he was preaching. The implants were gone and there were new stitches in place. Realizing what his teacher had in mind for him, Echo folded his arms around his new treasure chest and turned away squeaking his response.
“I can’t believe you actually….Ooohh no! I can’t do that!”
The response he got in return, from the man holding the very big knife, was far from what he wanted to hear.
“I can. The longer you wait the harder it will be. I promise it will be fairly painless. I’ll just pop the stitches and pull out the saline bags.”
“No! I’m way too tender right now!” was the only thing he could think of as a response. Echo knew he was whimpering his way into a hole with his mentor and when he was good and deep in said hole is when he would be struck.
“I am not about to work with a transgender, try-sexual, dim-witted pansy! Now if you aren’t going to do it, sit down so I can cut you open! It is going to happen one way or another!” The Voice was rising, along with the volume with which he was making his point, out of his chair with his blade aimed straight at his trainee. The bottom of the hole seemed to come out of nowhere. Echo had to think quickly…very quickly. There was going to be a physical point made to emphasize the verbal if he didn’t, so he blurted out the first thing that came to his mind that could possibly get him out of the same room as the mad man who wanted to separate his body from his new fun bags.
“Wait! Wait, wait! I’ll go to the doctor and have him take them out! Okay? My skin isn’t as thick as yours is…I mean you are tougher than I am, so I need to go and…and get…umm…get a local so I can have the stitches removed. He’ll do it for free seeing as how we were operated on instead of the real patients…”
Voice stopped advancing on his minion and sat back down. The knife was thrown down onto the table as he went back to work on his pistol as he mulled over the response.
“Fine you wuss. Have it your way, but if you don’t I will have it my way! It shouldn’t take long for the procedure, so on your way back stop by our number two area and pick up the suppressors. Seeing as how our primaries have been swiped along with our van. We need to make sure everything is ready for our next run in with Burn Boy and his friend.”
Echo nodded his agreement before walking out the door. He was now in a hurry to get out of the same area Voice was in. His instructor didn’t seem to understand what he was going through. Echo wasn’t sure he knew himself, but he was determined to find out. It was apparent to him that he would have a hard time doing so with his teacher acting the way he was. The man used to be hard to get along with, but now he was impossible! The only way to keep him off his back would be to make it seem as though he has done everything that was asked of him. Thankfully Echo was given an idea of how to do so without going through surgery again. The idea came from the Voice himself. First he would go the primary hideout to pick up some essentials then a quick trip to the lingerie shop for an extra ‘suppressor’.
“Thank you for the idea Voice.” Echo said to himself as he was well on his way to the standby vehicle they had parked out back in an alleyway. Considering what had been done to the two men it was the only place they could park that made it easy for them to get inside the secondary home unnoticed. It didn’t take very long for Echo to find out how easy it was for a man with breasts to get attention, from men and women alike. Some people even missed the fact that he was a man! All these individuals saw was a shapely chest with no support.
“This could make my job a little hard.” He said to himself.
The first order of business for him was to get his suppressor. The answer to this problem was a quick jaunt into a lingerie shop. Inside he was very surprised at the lustful looks he received from the women…as well as the men. Finding what he was after Echo ducked into a fitting booth to try it out. To his astonishment it did a very good job of masking his ample chest. Not wanting to have to put it on again he took the tag off and carried it to the register.
“Did you find everything you were looking for?” The cashier asked.
“Thankfully, yes.” Echo whispered his answer as he produced the tag for scanning.
“I see you have the tag, but where is the product” she queried.
“Sorry. After I tried it on I just couldn’t bring myself to take it off again. I didn’t want to attract the wrong kind of attention.” Echo gave the most innocent look he could muster, but it seemed to have a slightly different effect than what he intended, considering what was said next.
“Honey, you shouldn’t be shy, especially with what you have! I have some friends who would love to meet you for sure. I wouldn’t mind seeing you again, too.”
She rang him up while he was still recovering from what he had just heard and when he collected his receipt he found a card with a hand written phone number on the back. When he glanced up at this marvelous example of a woman she winked at him.
Being caught off guard all he could manage was a squeak of thanks before he turned and quickly exited the premises.
Once outside he realized what had just occurred and found it made him feel a little dirty, but in a good way. A sly smile crept across his face as he continued on his way to finish his mission.

It is strange, yes, but it does eventually work out in weird but effective ways later. Haaa haaa haa. These hit men are used to taking on ordinary people and now they have a real fighter on their hands...they will look like idiots until they figure this out.
