First of all we would like to thank everyone here for all of your kind condolences with regards to the passing of our cat Opal. We still miss her very much, but with time we'll be ready to provide a home to another kitty just like her. We have lots of pictures with which to remember her and I hope to post a few in the months to come.
This little rendering was, of coarse, inspired by Opal. I had started it just before her health failed. Up until then she was very vocal when it came to meals and anything else she might have wanted. So sayeth the doorman.
Again, thanks to all of you for your support and for stopping by to take a look. Have a great weekend everyone.

My life playing cat is fun
I get to laugh play and run
I sometimes catch things for my owner and bring it home
I love the food she feeds me and makes me comfy in my home
I don't pay rent or mortgage, nor do I pay for food
I think my payback is a snuggle against my owners cheek
She told someone that was worth gold:
I'm sure going to miss her but I'm now old
For Opal in heaven:
LOve your pov:hugs 5+

oh, clayton, i had no idea that you lost your kitty...i am so sorry for your loss...i know how difficult it is since so many of my little friends have gone to their place over the rainbow bridge. i had a cat that looked quite a bit like your image...she was white with blue eyes--her name was Aimee and she was a very good friend...hope you are able to get another soon--i know sometime has to pass before you feel right about it. do love your image and that pleading look for some food is spot on :)
