The Clover Grove Fancies - Cora's daughters
Here they are - all six of Cora's daughters. She was a Native Indian - her original name had been MiaKoda - meaning - PowerOfTheMoon. She'd come from the PowHatan tribe - last of the few following the slaughter.
She was mated up with an African - an Ethiopian male, who had looks the master was sure would turn out beautiful fancies. That meant a lot, because he was a fancy breeder. As each daughter was born, he would cheer for being right - they were going to bring him loads of money. The anticipation of their sales had him rubbing his palms together in greedy glee.
I am Mercedes Keyes - I am a writer of interracial literature because I find nothing more interesting, than the mystery of my origins and that of many black and white Americans.
As each story is told, I will bring the characters out in color. So far... I've written two.
*The Fancy - published in Kindle and paperback.
*Flight of Fancy - coming soon.
*Fancy Free - still to be written
*A Fanciful Twist - still to be written
The other two... will have the title of Fancy in them, but have yet to be named. Thanks for checking them out!

Mercy, what an outstanding job you have done in bringing these lovely ladies to life here. It's obvious you've taken the time to carefully think through the development of each character. I'm almost certain we will find their stories as unique and fascinating as their images are. Brilliantly done as always and only the highest praise from your biggest fan

You are a master at creating your characters that illiterate the people in your books. It's wonderful seeing all of the sisters and really great that you've envisioned them all. Your morphing abilities shine in this image. It is also a wonderful idea. Applause Applause!!!
