| Aches and pains Flecks of gray Wrinkles on top of wrinkles The hair I trim the most Is the hair growing on my ears I took a nice little walk today That I will pay for in the morning I am at that wonderful age Where I realize I haven’t seen everything But I have seen enough If the wind offered To carry me to the stars I would shed a small tear And be on my way I wrote this poem a couple of days after I went on a little walk straight down hill and then had to come back straight uphill. I was ready for the pain to end lol. Lets just say my legs were a little tight. Now the picture is one Lizzi took the other day as we were coming back from Seattle. Now I know what it looks like but actually I was just standing funny when I was taking a picture. It made us laugh because it looks like I am taking a tinkle outdoors on a warm day. “ Which I always recommend haha. “Anyway I think the way the picture looked fit the poem a little. I hope everyone gets a giggle out of our collaboration Thanks for everything Randy |
