They've been running all these apocalyptic things on TV lately. Stuff about the Inca or Mayan predictions, from Nostradamus, and various belief systems and traditions.
This is supposed to be the Big Year .. December 12th, isn't it? That's where this came from, LOL, too much watching TV!
Neoexcello sent me a bunch of texture images from flikr (by skeletalmess), and that's what the background and foreground layers evolved from. The goth fae is from Bellona's Free stuff here at Rendo .. don't know if she still maintains a presence here or not. She's Becky G at ShareCG. I added texture to the fae, too.
I've started a little at a time to catch up .. promise I'll get to you .. hopefully soon.
Thank you all for the views, comments, and faves. SO much appreciated.
Hope everyone's holidays were spectacular!

Excellent apocalyptic image, Rita. Is it a harbinger of what's to come? The whole Mayan prophecies thing is interesting, but all will be pretty much the same next year at this time. Eventually our world will end, but nor for a very long time. I am not usually this optimistic, but hopefully I am right. Nice work!!!!!

A very imaginative scene with lots of scary stuff and great colours. I think I am more scared of the earthquakes than the Mayan calendar, lets hope we make it past Dec. 12th. I have heaps of images I want to make and the rate I am making them I need another century to get them done.lol.

That sends shudders up the spine.. well done.
Have been doing my best to ignore the apocalypse stuff since there isn't really anything one can do even if it does happen. I find dwelling on it just takes away from the now.
I hope tgis is a wonderful year for you Rita.
