"Steamed Mirror On A New Year's Eve"*

A toast to those that chance upon old friends, share a drink together while they reminisce of their memories and celebrate their long friendship..for that is the spirit of Auld Lang Syne.

Happy New Years!!!

* Self portrait image captured with a Canon Rebel Xsi and pw in CS4.

Happy New Year to you too! Great postwork choices, water color-y on canvas~

It always amazed me to see clear, detailed self-portraits of famous artists as it seems most artists prefer to remain visually obscure. Years ago in a portrait drawing class, which was tough enough as it was, we had an assignment to do a self portrait which was probably the most difficult art assignment I've ever had.

This reminds me of a picture on copper of the first photo was a piece of metal fine whit some color but it was impossible to reproduce colors that appear like a bit like if you put a color photo into negative Anyway .. . A story .... ((5 + +))
