I feel my world Crumbling all around me My heart is so heavy It is hard for me to hold my head up I am weak in my spirit From the things happening That I cannot understand That I cannot control Or see the end of As I stand alone In the whirlwind of the storm I have to remember The creator of the rain Is also the creator of the rainbow I pray oh Lord Forgive me for my arrogance And increase my faith The picture is a typical sunset on the Columbia river from the marina in Umatilla. I have never seen a place that has so many beautiful sunsets. Its really not a matter if it is going to beautiful but more of how beautiful is it going to be tonight. As you can tell I love Umatilla. She sings to my soul. I hope you like my poem. Sometimes I have to pray for forgiveness for my lack of faith when I can’t understand things that are happening around me.
