I have been on a journey
A journey in my mind
Of my soul
Things that use to make sense when I was young
Just don’t seem right anymore
My journey has taken me far
Far from the ones I love the most
When I knocked on the door
I was informed
I am not the prodigal son
I am not welcome home anymore
I do not blame her
I went too far from where she is comfortable
But I am so sad for both our loses

( I don't think my baby sister loves me anymore )

Been there Randy. My baby sister is the prodigal in our family but she will not even try as you have done. It's a sad thing, I know. All you can do is pick yourself up and move on.

For my family, I'm the prodigal son. No, not exactly. I'm the black sheep. Because I'm free. I have taken the path more difficult, I'm a rebel. But I can't be another person. Your poem touched my soul. I know that not always we are understood. We go trough our way... even if it's not the way that their wanted. When I'm escaped from my "ex" husband, I lost my family. But, if I not escaped, I was dead. So, my choice: my family or my life? I chose my life, and the life of my daughter, and now, I'm alive. Their will understand, I hope.

Excuse me, my dear friend, for many words.
