The mighty Zerg Hydralisk, capable of inflicting considerable damage to both ground and air targets, attacking directly with scythe-like arms or, more commonly, striking from a distance with volleys of armor-piercing spines - one of the most versatile and ubiquitous of all StarCraft units.
All models are Bryce5, Wings3d, or Sculptris originals with the exception of DAZ V4. The Hydralisk was created in Sculptris, imported to UV Mapper, and finally textured using Paint Shop Pro 8. The V4 Terran Marine body armor was created in Wings3d, and similarly mapped with UV Mapper. Panel instrumentation meters, the few that are not actually polygon-modeled, are gels applied to parallel lights. As always, thanks for looking!

Great scene! I'm trying to put a female retribution paladin scene together, so I know these aren't easy to capture. Hopefully you are starting a Blizzard trend, I'd love to see more scenes like this.
