Just playing around with an accidental find. I was trying to load a terrain but had all files selected and clicked on a .tif file, said oh damn and the the thing turned into a terrain. Never knew TG2 did that...works with .bmp as well.
This is one of the images that evolved from that. Models either from here in freestuff or over at ashundar,

do-able masonspappy if you have an image to work from. .tif works best over all but most definitely do-able. You could even create dispersion maps for the grain objects from the images for accurate placement
