Not a particularly nice place to visit, never mind settling down there!
Thanks for dropping by.

It's always nice, Mandi, after being gone so long from this site, to come back to your gallery and see yet another piece of your vision. I've only time for one visit per, today (I hope to come back for more soon), and I wondered if I was going to see another of your intense historical collages (with images of 19th & 20th C communism, utopian states, etc, etc), or another of your explorations into the psyche of the thinker/anti-thinker, or of scientific discovery, or your many styles of abstracts, or the microorganism-like visions into the cellular world, etc etc...and I came, instead, to one of your 'other worlds' visions, replete with intricate detail, a logic all its own, fine relief on the mountains, fine use of shade and of course the ore-like reds and strange pinkish grays; and your pov, with a large sweep of this planet still in full curvature, against a wholly black sky, making fine contrast. The tiny speckled stars are also nicely done (they're small, but give delicate lights to the sky); and the moon has a delicate dream-like presence with beautiful melded hues. Simple, expressive and haunting. Your vision never flags, as always...beautiful work, Mandi, and I hope to be back again before more time passes. Your gallery is always outstanding.
