This image is dedicated to Fatima. (morganahope). She is a fantastic artist, and one of the kindest people I know. Her gallery is a pleasure to visit, and features beautiful works of art with gentle themes. Fatima shared many lovely memories with me about growing up in her wonderful country of Brazil. This is one of the most beautiful stories I have ever heard, and touched me the most. To be honest I was not sure if I would ever create another image. Because of Fatima's friendship, her stories, and kindness to me I felt it in my heart to do this for her. I hope everyone enjoys sharing her memories also. Hugs
Dave

Road To Paradise (For morganahope): When Fatima was a child she was always excited when her family would go visit her Grandparents. Her Grandmother was a sweet lady, and loved children. Her Dad Arlindo would get their horse "White", and hitch him to the wagon they used in the fields. Fatima and her dog "Lion" were the first in the wagon, so excited about their trip. Soon her sister Nasira and her Mom Nazira arrived and off they would go. It was a long trip, and the road seemed to go on forever, but that was okay because each trip was a magical one. They would set on bales of hay while Nazira told them wonderful stories the whole trip. She told them the history of their family and of their beautiful Brazil. She told them of the two cowboys that had died long ago, and were now buried along the road. After a long trip and many stories you could hear the whistle of a train to let you know the magical journey was almost over. Fatima remembers this as the road to paradise. Where there was no arguing or fighting, only a family sharing a trip and their love for each other.

Portugese: Esta imagem é dedicada a Fatima. (morganahope).

A very sweet scene of this precious memory for Fatima. Of course you have included great details, as you always do, and I particularly like how they are all so focused on the mother. It is a grand way for a family to share stories of their heritage, and now it has become even more beautiful with this image. CC

I'm so excited, I might get onto page 1 of your comments Dave, that's really hard to do!

Although we all come from different parts of the world, I think the journey is the same for a lot of us. Growing up and having wonderful family memories moulds us into who we are today. Great job on this one magnus, you've done Fatima pround. Gonna hit the submit button with my fingers crossed, going for page 1!!!!
