Not a very imaginative title, but it does explain the picture, LOL. Back quite a few years ago Mike built a beautiful arbor up the length of our front walkway and a few years back we planted a white wisteria vine and a purple wisteria. The past few years they have blossomed, but nothing like this year! The bloom are spectacular and over the next few days I will be uploading some more of the purple blooms as well as the white, some of which are close to three feet long. Coming up the walkway is a treat for the senses, with the white and purple blooms and the sweet, sweet scent they give off. I only wished they lasted longer!

Yes, I love our wisteria! Especially the purple one. I remember planting that white many years ago - at least twenty years now. I got it from a workmate who is now passed away long ago. He had it growing on his chain link fence for years.
I love walking up the walk way and seeing the blossoms hanging over head.
Nice shot hon.

Beautiful image Holly, your eye for photos is wonderful. We have the same vine growing in our backyard, not over the abor that I too built, but its back there. Of course my arbor leaned a bit before I hammered it straight and cemented it in. That was a mess for a while, looks pretty good now though. :)

You never believe it, we have got an arbour - with white Wisteria growing absolutely wild - it has literally taken over and I hate to prune it, one just needs the patience of a saint and keep feeding the new growth through the espalier...
