Sometimes I need to do a fairy and I wanted to do something special for Earth Day. In case anybody is interested I wanted to try the new Kids 4. So, I used the little girl in Daz Studio's figure mixer, and morphed K4 and V4 together, then used the texture Farissa found at Daz to create a teenage fairy. The free dress is the Tink Dress found at Faerie-Dreams. The texture I used is mine. (I'm slowly teaching myself to texture). The background was created by mixing a scene I created with Artmatic Voyager, fractilized it in Artmatic Pro, added the Galaxy Explorer filter from Filter Forge, then blended it all together and painted it in Painter. The glitter was created by using Filter Forge and then I hand painted it on the dress and wings. I'm trying to learn all these tools I've acquired over the years. So I may be experimenting for a while . . .
Thanks for looking and for any comments you care to leave. Happy Earth Day!

I have to second e-brink's assessment. The expression IS superb and the lighting just underlines it further. You are so creative and resourceful in your texture techniques and it shows fantastically in the end result. Wonderful colors and movement in the background. It's a gorgeous portrait.

You're experimentations are awesome Cathy, but your facial expressions are just totally amazing. I don't think I've ever seen facial expressions done as perfectly as you do them. Not having played with poser, or more then once or twice with Daz, I cannot even imagine what it would take to get those faces just so. You seem to get the tiniest nuances across with these programs, and that just blows me away.
