Another amazing image, Mandi. If I may be so bold as to offer the title 'Watery Grave'. All those sad eyes of unfinished lives and the merging of colourful days, long gone, are now projected on a wall like a Victorian slideshow experiment in contacting the dead, discovered in an attic, and as misplaced now as then, as if they just couldn't wait a few more years. There is an attempt by hands to remove death with an air of "caught in the act" of un-being... death is an embarrassment to all 'living' creatures - especially in civilized society.

It's too bad we can't favorite comments out here. e-brink would get my vote as would popeslatzz. : ) It's a touching image--one that is heart-felt and it reaches out to any of us who have experienced grief in our lives. At least that's what I feel when I look at this. It reminds me of the various stages of grief--disbelief, anger, sadness, acceptance, and I'm reminded of the celebration of life and family in the faces of the children. It's beautifully crafted. I love how there are waves of energy like something in the aether has been disturbed, and I appreciate that it took me a while to see the faces appearing on either side behind the forward facing faces as if someone is watching over them all or maybe concerned about moving on. Brilliant work.
