Spectacular!!! Very romantic, he is lost in his thoughts and the smell of flowers. I think he is transformed. Wonderful story picture, I love it.

Cathy you have done it again my friend. You've created a enchanting scene once more and I'm certain Peter is going to be thrilled to see it. You really put so much passion and feeling into this one, it makes a powerful statement.

Once again you have proved you have a real talent and a real desire to produce meaningful art. The overall scene is splendid. The message is clear from the details and the atmosphere. A small story of pleasant times that could have one or two connotations - the hat on the chair is a nice touch. The actors face and expression are wonderful, an expression enhance by the hair - you have a forte for the subtlety of great expressions. You realize that there's a difference between 'character' and 'expression'. A fact not always seen on digital galleries. The textures have come out well too - particularly the table. I also like the reflections in the window glass. I suppose in a way, this picture is about reflection. I will call you the Hyacinth girl.

"'You gave me hyacinths first a year ago;
'They called me the hyacinth girl.'
—Yet when we came back, late, from the Hyacinth garden,
Your arms full, and your hair wet, I could not
Speak, and my eyes failed, I was neither
Living nor dead, and I knew nothing,
Looking into the heart of light, the silence.
Od' und leer das Meer."

From 'The Waste Land' by T.S.Eliot.

A sad, romantic and inspiring scene! His expression makes you want to join him; he seems most charming... and I really like your choice of background with a touch of floral decor. Excellent realism and creativity!
