A perfect expression of both the committee and the public too, for that matter... I never feel safe in public... it's the 'public' - they worry me. That aside, this is really a wonderful piece of art. I love the warm, glowing colours, which lends some weight to the possibility of good intentions in the hearts and minds and the depicted.

I was just watching Dances With Wolves again, and this reminds me of when the leaders are sitting inside the teepee making decisions that will effect the tribe. The fire glows, the smoke drifts, with important tokens of their culture displayed around them. I see masks, history, dance, and ritual in this image. I think this may be one of my favorites of your work.
